Apple Tarts ~ Ashley

You can do any pie filling you want. We like apple and cherry. Its so easy, its almost embarrassing to tell the recipe.
Apple Tarts

1 pkg crescents
1 can pie filling (I use the large cans and only use 1/2 the can for 8 crescent)
cinnamon (optional and depends on what fruit you use)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a muffin tin. Place each crescent into the muffin tin, laying flat. Spoon the pie filling into the crescent, and sprinkle cinnamon. Fold up side of crescent so they sit nicely in the tin. Its ok if not all the pie filling is covered. Bake for 15 minutes or until brown on top. To take out, use a fork to scoop them out, they should come out nicely.

Note: I like to chop my apple pie filling up into little pieces before spooning it into the crescents. I take a knife and do it right in the can. Its easier to eat that way.

Sounds simple enough. That's what will get me to try this, simple. Thanks for the idea.
